NEW YORK/WASHINGTON -- Senior executives from some of China's biggest companies have traveled to Washington for President Xi Jinping's state visit but remain on the sidelines of the summit itself, with several awaiting word on whether they will be invited to a White House state dinner despite not being part of Xi's official delegation, Nikkei Asia has learned.
