KUMAMOTO, Japan/TOKYO -- With Tuesday marking one week since Japan's Kumamoto prefecture was rocked by a powerful earthquake, recovery efforts are being accelerated as extreme temperatures over 40 C increase the risk of heatstroke and disaster-related deaths.
